  This railway station is just behind the Agra Fort. So it is named after it. There is no much noise inside the station. It's cool and calm. The parking lot for this station is very narrow, low area. Density of the crowd is high and the traffic is a major issue at this location. The width of the road here is very less, playing the major role for high traffic. The cab drivers here will definitely irritate you.

  One of the well- cleaned and managed railway station I have ever seen. It has all the basic facilities for the passengers. However it should be expanded in terms of facilities and space due to increasing passenger load. I have deducted a star because there is no seperate waiting room for AC and Ist class passengers. Waiting rooms are separated on the basis of male and female which is not adequate and out of sense thing at the places like railway station. Otherwise, its good to be a passenger here. Its the only railway station I have seen where a famous monument Agra fort is just in front of it.

  The imposing exterior stands out over the hustle and bustle of Agra town. The gorgeous red sandstone is quite a site to behold. I wondered if the outside was the best part but was thrilled to find stunning architecture throughout my walk. The various buildings have aged surprisingly well and so much decorative detail remains. The manicured green areas give a polished feel to the interior. I also enjoyed the small Indian Palm Squirrels that are all around as well as the Macaques which are fun. The other great experience is seeing the Taj Mahal from the rear in the distance from a number of viewing spots in the fort. Almost as impressive as the front view. Well almost. Enjoyable walk around and good to visit later in the day as we did as it was a little less hot.

  •Very beautiful views from the platform of this station. •You will get train to Jodhpur,Ahmedabad,Jaipur, Kolkata, Varanasi and Assam from here. •Located near to Agra Fort.
