  Akurdi Station is a suburban railway station of Pune Suburban Railway. The station is in Sector-26 of Nigdi Pradhikaran. All suburban (local) trains between Pune Junction - Lonavla, Pune Junction - Talegaon, Shivajinagar - Lonavla, Shivajinagar - Talegaon stop here.

  Only locals and passenger train stop at this station .2 platforms .Well mantained station with helpful staff. Clean and tidy with sufficient dustbins placed.Adequate arrangements for seating is available on the platform Ticket counter(2) only available on the east platform . Prepaid card (smart card) ticket vending machines( AVM 2 ) available.Faclilities of drinking water and toilets available. AC waiting room available near station master's office.Two wheeler parking lot on East and west side of the station.Ramps for special needs available on both sides.Well connected place -Buses available for nearby nigdi as also far off locations available just outside the station . Rickshaw stand available but do bargain (for fares are non metered).Mostly all bank ATM machines available nearby on the east. Police chowki very close in case help is needed. Good food stalls available just outside the station (tea & moong wada / bhaji is famous). Colleges , schools and important government offices very close to the station.

  The station is Crowded in morning and in evening because of Local train from Lonavala to Pune & Vice versa. The station is Cleaned,& Have only 2 Platform

  One of clean and neat railway station . Seating and toilet facilities are good. Local and passenger trains station. Any other don't have stop here.

  Clean and neat rail way Station. Near by transport available. Proper seating arrangement available.
