  Considering the condition of Indian Railway system, I would say that the station is best and also you can get trains to many places from here. With the new expansion and beautification, it has become even better.

  Much busy station on New Delhi Kanpur section on New Delhi - Howrah route as compared to the other stations such as Khurja Jn., Tundla Jn., Shikohabad Jn., Etawah Jn. Many Superfast Express trains have their only stoppage here like Mahabodhi, Bhrigu, Rewa ANVT, Prayagraj, Kaifiyaat, Bhagalpur and Jayanagar Garibrath and many more Superfast trains like both Kanpur and Lucknow Shatabdi hault here except 12034 don't have it's stop here. Four passenger and three express trains runs on Aligarh Jn. - Bareilly Jn. route.

  With around 8 neat and clean platforms. Good efforts had been made by Railway to enhance facilities and make Aljn a smart station. Facilities :- -Cloak Room -Enquiry -Ticket Counter -IRCTC Canteen -RO water -Canteen -Parking -Book&newsppr stall -A good GRP staff - 24/7 public transprt - Rest rooms - Free high speed Wifi

  Nowadays the junction is more neat and clean comparing to past years . The paintings on the outside wall or on the stairs of junction was painted by AMU students to decorate their junction to look beautiful or to attract passengers but most of the best trains has no stoppage here. Some improvements needed.
