  Chaos. Crowds. Clamour. Clutter. That’s the Alopibagh Chungi for you. The new flyovers have brought much needed succour to the residents of this place This crossing or chungi forms a very vital intersection. Traffic from and to Tagore town /George town/ Katra / civil lines to sangam /Fort/ Naini /Jhusi/Varanasi to Bahrana / Rambagh / Chowk to Alopi Devi temple n Daryagang - all converge at this crossing making it a mayhem of sorts. And the since is so important and crowded you have fruit stalls. Chat thelas. Tea wallahs Samoasa Wala’s. And much of it is pretty delicious.

  Alopibagh Chungi is named in the temple of Alopi Devi suited near this crossing. Along with Alopi mata mandir there is Jalpa devi mandir both are very old temple. Many other temples are suited near these two. A place of ritual values. Must visit place for near by peoples and also try to know the history and story of all the temples from Pandit ji or other local guides.

  Its Alopibag chungi and also known Naya pool There is a taxi stand here .There is a lot of crowd and traffic here.
