  This museum has 5 rooms with various things in display from the Shivaji Maharaj era. There are various old coins, tools and weapons on display. Entry fee is only Rs. 5. It is a good place to know more about the historical tools and coins. But photography is not allowed inside the museum.

  All kinds of weapons of 16th century are kept here. The currency used by the every empire in different centuries. Also the things used in the time period of Shri Chatrapati Shivaji MAHARAJ are kept and maintained very well. Unfortunately photography is prohibited there that's why I can't post the photos. I thik around 20 rs is the entry fee for the museum and there is no time restrictions. If you are interested in history, the weapons used in that period , currencies and many more then must visit once. Especially you will come to know all kinds of currencies used before and after the time period of Shri Chatrapati Shivaji MAHARAJ. It's not so far from Aurangabad main ST stand or from Sidhant Garden which is famous for zoo. Thank you

  Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is undoubtedly one of the greatest Kings of India. It is in his memory this museum has been established. This museum has a fair bit of collection and tried to convey the message as to why the King was great.

  Nice place for making awareness of history to present generation.. But need to concentrate more on facilities of guides,more illustration required regarding the items available.... Staff initiation is good can be improved ..
