  Service is ok..When u cross the Ganges.d journey is amazing..All the Vesels are well maintained..and seafty measures are ok.Ferry Service every 15 minute interval..Ticket Price RS-5.But jetty is not fully shaded..Monthly avalable..

  Saves a lot of time, faster to reach Howrah station. Tourists must enjoy specially those who are less fortunate to ride boats and ships. You can ask life jackets if you don't know swimming. There should be online booking and token method like metros. It can save lot of paper. Landscape along the river bank needs maintainance badly. Wastage drains must not end into river without recycling.

  The feri service is very good...but they should publish a method for us for e ticketing...that will help the environment kore cleaner...and reliable. Thank you...

  I came by ferry boat in the evening from Dakshineswar Kali Temple and saw this big factory along the river. Specially in the dark as almost the only building higher then 2 stories it was very impressive. Could any Google guide fill us in what this building was initially and what it is used for now. I left the dock at 6:30 pm and don't expect to be at Millennium Park before 8pm. Was a nice reflecting ride that costed me only Rs 20. Begin March this was still nice warm with some mosquito and a warm breeze. This boat ride is much better then 1.5-2 hours in the traffic.

  Good ferry service. Best and fastest way to rich Howrah railway station. Place is properly maintained. BBD Bag circular railway station also here. Near Millennium Park situated. This is good connectivity Howrah railway station to BBD Bag railway station. Statistically very important place and fast communication is available through ferry service.
