  If you are looking for simple home cooked food with good old Bangalore traditional hotel - Ajantha is a great place! Peak lunch time it maybe difficult to get seats as there will be lot of office folks. You must try South Indian meals in the afternoon, Mangalore Bhajji for evening tea-time snacks - unbelievably hot and tasty!

  Good and decent place to stay, also very good restaurant. Located in the heart of the city. Also got safe and secured private parking. Lift facility is not available.

  Though it looks a bit better than a budget hotel, the behaviour of the hotel staff and management is simply terrific. Moreover, their food available in their own restaurant is one of its kind. I relished each item of theirs (south indian items, of course) as I could, and they were just a tad spicy. Rooms were nicely cleaned, with 24 hours hot water availability. The most important thing is they have a unique concept of 24 hours check-in/check-out time period per day. For example, I checked in at 8.30 AM on Saturday, so automatically the scheduled check-out time got finalized for 8.30 AM on Sunday. In case, there's some valid reason of getting delayed, you will get an additional 1 hour time as grace period. Now this is cool, isn't it! On the improvement side, they have all the ingredients to make it to one of the good hotels of 3 or 4 star. It's time the management of Hotel Ajantha starts thinking about it. Overall, lovely cozy place to live in, with a super helpful house keeping staff and delicious hotel food. Value for money! Enjoy your stay and keep coming back!
