  The hotel staff are all wonderful and the bedroom itself was great, not to mention the roof top! What a beautiful view. What has made me give 3 stars is that the bathroom window had no mosquito netting up which meant we were constantly fighting the mosquitos. This may have only been in room 105, so do check the bathroom window before you check in. Other than that, it was a great place to stay, very close to the Taj. If you plan on going to the restaurant Pinch of Spice, DO NOT WALK! It is a very dirty walk over literal areas of waste and rubbish, get a 5 minute rickshaw instead of 40-50 rupees.

  Great location and views of the Taj Mahal. Not the cleanest or most comfortable location. Good for 1 to 2 days stay at the most. Any longer and consider alternate locations.

  One star for the excellent location; you can see the Taj Mahal clearly from the rooftop. And one star for the kind and well intentioned owner. 3 Minus points for the dirty sheets. Not the first time I have experienced this in India. It seems to be fine not to change the bedsheets after they'd been slept in by others. UNACCEPTABLE! Hairs, yellow stains, brown stains removable by our own wet wipes. Gross. When fixing the pillow case I noticed the pillow inside which was completely dark grey brown of the filth and ancientness. How expensive can new pillows be after what.. 30 years?! That's how old these pillows must have been. We didn't say anything as it was late by the time we noticed. We slept fully clothed, didn't dare use the duvet and covered the pillows with our t-shirts. This unhygienic bedding spoiled our stay with Kamal.

  Loved the location of this hotel, walking distance to the Taj (5 mins or so on foot), very pleasant and friendly staff and amazing views of the Taj from the rooftop. Our room was very large and comfortable for our stay, and the wifi was good and strong during most of our time there. We were given plenty of advice from the young chap on reception with regards to our onward travels and things to do in Agra. Would most certainly recommend this hotel.

  Hotel Kamal was a delight to stay at, with genuine and helpful staff who upgraded our room on arrival. The room was clean, roomy and well maintained. Location is fantastic with restaurants within a few steps and is a short walk to the Taj Mahal. The view from the rooftop is one of the best in all of Agra and is an easy way to unwind and watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal.
