  Express trains are not useful for the tourists because they don't stop at small and cute places worth taking photographs.   Small station. Only passenger trains stop here. A Railway gate is nearby. Very convinient for bus travel to Chyrinkil, even for Kazhakuttam town, as well as Costal areas like Perumathura -Thumba road , Kadinamkulam , Puthukuruchi etc. The Kaniyapuram bus stand is 500mt away on the National Highway.
