  National Museum is one of India's best museums. It has centuries old articles including Hadappa civilization, Gupta Dynasty, Maurya Dynasty, Kushan Dynasty and many more... A wonderful place for history lovers and who wants to see the glorious Indian past. You can take your kids along with and they will have a great time. It has wonderful sculptures of Lord Buddh, and many others. You can enjoy tea and Samosa also in the canteen during your visit... Overall, a must see place for anyone and everyone who visits Delhi...

  I visited this place in Oct 2016 . It's near the india gate . You have to reach central Secretariat metro if you coming from metro. Amazing Awesome it's most interesting place for me . I love my nation and love it's history. If you are scholar you can't see this place in one go. Before visited this place I read history in ncert text and never seen thing found in excavation with my naked eyes. But here you see all these things.

  Great collection of artifacts can be found here. Architecture of the museum is also great. Officials don't allow bags inside, so they have a cloak room in the campus. All the ancient collection of artifacts and old jwellery as well as coins and other sclupture can be found here. Some paintings are just amazing.

  Its a very good place to explore about India’s past and history. You will find amazing things and time will fly by if you are interested in historical things. This place is easily accessible even for differently abled people. Timings are 10am to 5pm everyday except Mondays. Ticket price is Rs20 for Indian Adults and Rs 650 for foreign tourists.
