  If you are ready to walk for 2 hours you can enjoy the whole zoo.if not there is a train ride or a buggy ride option. You also have a small lion Safari to enjoy free roaming lions and deers.if lucky you can witness a lion catching it's prey. some of the enclosure for animals are however empty. Better to visit in the morning or evening in summer.carry snacks and water with you. Drinking water is provided in regular intervals.

  Well maintained and big enough. Prices are very economical. Battery operated vehicles run inside to make the visit comfortable. Toy train also runs inside. Lots of shade around so heat wasn't a big issue. Safari Park was a waste. Please note that backpacks are not allowed. The park opens at 8:30am at closes at 5:30pm. We went in the morning and luckily avoided the huge rush that we saw while exiting.

  The reason I gave 4 rating was the maintenance has changed very much. Zoo is vast and has an excellent capacity to hold many animals. In comparison to my previous visit the latest was unsatisfactory. There are not many animals in the display. The water in the turtles pond was dirty. The monkeys are kept in place with nearly no trees or place to hide from scorching sun. The other problem was birds. They have repeatedly put silver hens and jungle hens in every birds cage. There were also some satisfying factors such as nocturnal animals display. Owls were amazing. Can see different animals. Safari experience is ever amazing. It really is amazing to see lions and tigers free just like in their natural habitat. Children will enjoy the visit for sure. There are also stalls with cold drinks and other eatables. So overall a good place to spend a whole day with family.

  The zoo is very vast and is lush green. It has a train tour facility, which takes us around most parts of the zoo (deers, elephants swamp birds and tigers). It also provides services for renting bicycles, which is recommended if you enjoy cycling through wide roads surrounded by nature. It's canteen facility was average, but having a variety of food. The washrooms are to be paid & used and were neat. The over all expenses inside the zoo we're very affordable. Wouldn't recommend visiting during summer or monsoon. Winter and onset of summer is the best time to visit.

  Nehru zoo park is good. It is having good parking area. Zoo is having lot of animals to watch. Kids will enjoy in this place by watching various animal. It is good for small picnic. Plastic covers are not allowed in side the zoo park, so if want to take any thing inside the park take any eating item in the paper covers. Reach early to the zoo park so that you can cover all the animals. After entering zoo park first take train ride, which covers most of the zoo animal and you will get an idea of various animals and their places. After train ride you con walk around and watch or take electric vehicles ride which most useful for elderly people. Carry eating food or any other items in the cotton or paper bags as plastic covers are not allowed. Zoo closes by 5.30pm. Thank you 😀 😀 Enjoy the zoo
