  The riverfront market or Ravivari market, also known as Sunday bazaar is an open street market where you can buy everything from clothes to slippers, stationery to utensils and many more. The market is set on the back side of the sabarmati river (ellisbridge) and it can be said that it is the oldest market of Ahmedabad. It is only open on Sunday starting from 8:00 a.m. in the morning and doesn't last till the evening. It gets over after the noon. But it is a must visit place if you want to shop cheaper. Also pets are available there for selling purpose like goats, rabbit, hen, pigeon and a variety of birds.

  It's a chore bazar so mostly u will get second hand products. Therea is a wide range of u can buy here at cheap rates such as cosmetics,mobile acessories , books,gym acessories,electronics, computer acessories, etc.must visit one time for an experience.

  This market is also called "Ravivari".I had not seen it ,really good . The local people who are artist, carpenter, cobbler, blacksmith etc and not having any shop to sell the articles ,come to this market of Ravivari to earn money. Now it is improvised ,the traffic arrangement done on the riverfront and the whole market is called Riverfront market. I took snaps of those ladies prpparing articles.REALLY IT IS VERY ECONOMICAL for poor in this market.
