  Very good service and friendly staff. The place is always full thanks to the great food with at least 50 varieties of dishes. Considering that two meals a day are complementary the rooms are reasonably priced. Unlike most other hotels this place is frequented by both domestic and foreign tourists. Only one issue that I have faced sometimes is with the reception staff who need to be more professional.

  One of the oldest in Chennai. Had bitter experiences twice staying here. Once the toilet was broken and overflowing. Next time I was given a much better room with perfect cooling! But in the middle of the night I found AC regulator non functional. This time I stayed in another hotel and lectured at the diabetes convention at Savera. Ball room is very good and well air conditioned. Rest room was burning like a hot furnace!! It’s a very busy property but not suitable for elegant meetings or comfortable stays!

  Savera is one of the very well maintained old hotels in Chennai. It is as pristine as it was 10 years ago. We visited the roof top restaurant Curry leaf for a social dinner. Food was amazing as usual and the menu was okay too. One thing I felt different from earlier days was the portions have become much less and even roti appeared to be miniatured. Recommended.

  Savera is one of the finest hotels within the city limits. The complimentary breakfast associated to your is a mouthwatering experience as you'll get to taste everything from English to South Indian cuisines. The rooms are well ventilated and the rest rooms are spacious. In the evenings you can take a walk to the world's second longest beach and come back without spending much on public transport.

  I travelled to Chennai for business purpose and my accommodation was arranged in Savera. Excellent location. A decent hotel with extremely good house keeping and rooms are comfortable and quite big. Their included breakfast is amazing with plenty of options. They also provided complimentary one time cab pickup from airport. Overall the experience was great.
