  Sports complex sector 42 is a place where u can pay and play a lot of games with very good standard of coaching. Basketball, hockey, badminton, etc. are some of the games that are there. There is no problem for parking as there is a lot of area for parking.

  The complex will be open from 8 am to 10 am and 7.30 pm to 10 pm, it added. The complex was inaugurated by Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore in presence of BJP Lok Sabha member from Chandiagrh Kirron Kher on January 2. However, it was put under locks following non-availability of coaches and maintenance staff. As per sources, the administration had been mulling to hand over the complex to private players but no one had shown any interest. Meanwhile, the newly-laid badminton courts at the Sector 7 sports complex have also been thrown open to the general public and players. The complex will be open from 5 am to 7.30 am for general public and from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm for players, said the department. Housewives and non-working women can make use of the facility between 10 am and 1 pm, while the 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm time slot has been fixed for the officers.The UT Sports Department in its official release on Friday announced the opening of the sports complex at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 43, whereas the complex is situated at Government Model High School, Sector 43. In a statement, undersigned by the Sports Secretary, the department informed that the complex was located at GMSSS, Sector 43, instead of GMHS, Sector 43.
