  This is one of the oldest station in Trichy . Times before more trains have stopping here but now only local trains have stopping here. Hence it is near to sirangam. This station have to be upgraded with more facilities. More people use this station for local trains

  Important junction inside Tamil Nadu. Railway station is maintained well. There is an old rail engine also kept right outside the station.

  Always crowded due to its location. Upgrading its facilities due to increased number of passengers. Well connected by all mods of traffic.
