  This is one of the very devotional place for Hindus and also historic place of Meerut. Having importance in hindu mytholgy and in every hindu festival, you can get the way of celebration here. Clean and clear with cantoment board. It is also have a wonderful and courageous story of independent freedom movement of 1857. Whenever you go to Meerut, also go to this mandir once for worship.   This place is fabulous. Especially on festivals. They decorate the whole temple with flowers and lights on festivals. There will be a tight security too on festivals, especially on shivratri. On krishan janamashtmi the temple will be decorated so beautifully with lot and lot of flowers and lights. And this temple is very old. This temple is a remarkable place of Meerut.

  Very old and famous temple of MEERUT. Historically it was known as काली पलटन का मन्दिर where people gathered during 1857 to take part in the first battle for independence against British rule.
