  Well the only commercial airport in the rich state of poor people of Jharkhand but I am very happy that at least the concern department has modified and renovated the entire airport which gives the premium feeling to its passengers as the airport is not so busy but at least all the basic amenities are intact in the airport.

  No doubt it's quite smaller than other airports of metros, but don't let that fool you. It's got top notch facilities, amenities and is very well maintained. It truly showcases the culture of Jharkhand. The staff is quite friendly and helpful.

  Excellent airport and best people in India's all airport the best bay to enter and exit the aircraft. I expected little less but it is standing upon my expectations. I am very impressed.

  There is an integrated passenger terminal that opened on 24 March 2013, replacing the old passenger terminal that was renovated and inaugurated as a cargo terminal on 10 February 2017. In March 2013, the tax on aviation turbine fuel sold at the airport was reduced from 20% to 4% to attract more airlines to the city. Overnight parking of aircraft at the airport was made free-of-charge to encourage airlines to schedule their aircraft to remain overnight, so that there may be more early-morning flights to the metro cities. The Airports Authority of India also announced the construction of three more parking bays, thereby making it the first Tier-II airport in India to have eight planned aircraft parking bays.

  Small airport. Has all basic amenities. Washrooms are clean. Has few shops. Has one smoking room at the security lounge at the ground floor. Staff seems to be helpful. Almost all domestic airlines operate from this airport. I have not noticed any bar in this airport.
