  The Captain Roop Singh Stadium was originally built for hockey but has been renovated for cricket games recently. It was named after the hockey player Roop Singh and has hosted some ODI internationals. The place will always be remembered for the location where the first double century in an ODI match was made, by Sachin Tendulkar in a game against South Africa.

  Sachin Tendulkar hit world's first 200 in one day cricket. It takes 10 mins to reach there from gwalior railway station. U can also walk by there. U can also see the stadium ground lights from a distance and predict the place. There is also a swimming learning place just next to it powered by nagar nigam Gwalior.

  Historic stadium for every Indian cricket fan. First double century in ODI cricket and that too by none other than God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar..

  It's an mid sized international stadium. Pitch quality is good but seating quality is poor as compare to other stadiums of India.

  This place for cricket matches.Captain Roop Singh Stadium, is a cricket ground in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. The stadium has hosted 12 ODI matches, the first one was played between India and West Indies on 22 January 1988 The ground has flood lights and has hosted day-night encounters. It can hold 18,000 people. It was originally a hockey stadium named after great Indian hockey player Roop Singh.
