  Amazing temple. A visit to Tamil Nadu is incomplete without entering this temple's hallowed ground and soaking up in its rich Tamil history, tradition and culture.

  Only place to park the vehicle if you 're visiting meenakshi amman temple But not maintained well

  It is super crowded and absolutely no space to park. At the parking space near the temple they ask you to leave your car keys with them so that they can move it around if needed when someone else needs to remove their cars. We didn't find that safe and then we had to search around the whole area for a parking spot ( and you won't find one). Finally we found a private paid parking area and with a lot of juggle managed to find a spot. So good luck with parking if you plan to visit the temple.
