  A very neat and clean airport. It’s a defence airport so the security is very good. It houses a beautiful garden courtyard bang at the airport centre. It has a good connectivity to major international destinations. Not many kiosks for duty free shopping though.

  International terminal is really awesome. All modern amenities are available. Less crowded as compared to other tier 2 city airports

  International flights and Domestic flights to increase from next couple of month as separate dedicated runway will get fully operational. Airport will remain closed from 12th May to 31st May 2018 for runway expansion work. At present there are two international flights to Dubai and Bangkok. Small but beautiful airport terminal.

  . (01/2018) This airport has improved a lot over the years. Easily accessible. Spacious, well managed and organised. Excellent ambiance and smoke-free atmosphere. Security measures are always kept to top standards. In fact, visitor access is blocked for entering inside the airport wait area around Republic Day and Independence Day which can cause great inconvenience as well. There is dedicated multi-lane road access to this airport. Spacious parking area with ample parking space. Wheelchair parking is available and there is wheelchair accessible entrance. Parking is paid and as of January 2018, to pick and drop off passengers is free as long as vehicle leaves airport within 8 minutes otherwise minimum 2 hours parking is charged at ₹ 85. There is wheelchair accessible lift. Public restrooms are available only inside the airport and therefore, the day on which visitors are not allowed to enter the airport wait area, there is no access to restrooms for them. Restrooms are wheelchair accessible. ...................................... (02/01/2015) Was impressed from the security measures. Neat and smooth driving route to the airport. Well maintained, pretty much of international airport standards and nice ambiance for an airport which has just become operational.

  1. The music is so loud that you cannot read a book or take rest or call anyone or do anything, even if you put earphones. Now-a-days, everyone has a smart-phone, where they can listen to music, so why play such loud music. The other silent airports like Delhi are much better in this regard. 2. Even if you have to play music, better play Indian music (Punjabi, Hindi or other local music). Why have western cacophony which is completely illegible and gives headache. 3. The water-pressure in the tap outside gate 3 was so low that one cannot drink water. No water glass is provided anyway. Now that summer will increase, proper water supply is a must. Otherwise, the airport is clean and spacious.
