  Hazrat Shah Waliyullahi Dehlavi (R. A) was one of the greatest Hanafi scholars of India. He is also known as the "Shadow of wisdom". He was born in Delhi on 1703 and died at the age of 59 in 1762.He translated the Holy Qur'an into Persian language. His resting place is near to the Delhi Gate and Maulana Azad Medical College. He had attained deep knowledge in Hadith(teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)).
