  Eastern Court is a heritage building where during British Period , the courts were located,but now it is occupied by BSNL and MTNL offices. Sanchar Haat ,the sales and customer interface office of MTNL is also loacted. A plaque outside the gate nearer to the Metro statin has the historic details inscribed. Opposite is located, a similar building called Western Court, which is under better renovated condition,which is used for residential purposes of Parliament Members, who are waiting for regular allotment of residences . Janpath Metro station is just next to both the buildings ,after opening of which the movement of people around these buildings has increased.
