  The architect of the High Court building Mr. Medd Shaw described the building as a "Poem in Stone' at the ceremony of opening of the High Court. Ceremony of laying the foundation of the High Court building was performed on 9th January 1936, by his Excellency Governor of Central Provinces. The first Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Nagpur, Hon'ble Sir Justice Gilbert Stone, was knighted on 1st January 1936.   Our High court Mumbai , Nagpur bench is situated in civil lines Nagpur Maharashtra. one of the best infrastructure in India. Building is surrounded by green and healthy atmosphere. Very big infrastructure and ample parking is available here. We Indian are very proud on our judiciary system. peoples are talking very respectfully about this high court.
