  Stayed at Hotel Nehrus' for 4 nights. We were very happy with this pocket friendly accommodation. Clean rooms with very courteous staff and good food freshly prepared by the in house chef. Just across the Dal lake perfect for quiet Shikara rides and of course the great view from the rooms. The staff helped us plan our time in Srinagar, they also assisted us with good deals at hotels in Gulmarg and Pahalgam. They provided us with a great taxi driven by Mr. Abdul Rashid who makes sure that travellers have a true Kashmir experience. They also guided us with good shopping locations in the city since Kashmir is known to be expensive when tourists shop. A home like stay, with a beautifully manicured garden to enjoy some steaming hot Kehwa in the chilly mornings.

  Good place and got a good deal for the rooms. The hotel is basic, but the rooms face the Dal lake, which gives a good view.
