  Kamakhya Junction Railway Station is located at Maligaon in Guwahati, Assam. Parking Facilities are available. It consists of four platforms. Also, it is the second largest railway station of Guwahati after Guwahati Railway Station. It is one of the cleanest and well maintained railway station in the NorthEast. Auto, Rickshaw, Bus, Taxis are available outside the Station. Waiting Rooms are clean. Passenger amenities are good.

  2nd Largest station in the City Guwahati. Only 4 platform here, but very busy station. Maligaon (place where station situated) is the headquarter of NFR. If U travel the Western India from Guwahati by train, U must cross this station. Lake of Food availability. The station is upgraded day by day. New foot over bridge and many more construction is on going. After some years this station will be fully Updated station.

  The last station before reaching Guwahati. People coming to visit Kamakhya temple can deboard the trains here and take an auto, OLA, Uber to reach the destination. The Maligaon bus stand is a walking distance from the station and connects you to the whole of Guwahati. Buses are available till 9pm from Maligaon bus stop. There are ATM's and a parking lot as well. The station is being upgraded now.

  It is the gateway junction to guwahati city. hosts famous Kamakhya temple. Railway NF hq is nearby. only 4 platforms, but many trains originate here. Cafeteria is not of good standard. Waiting room on pf4 is good .
