  Nice place, it will open from morning 7 am to 9am and from 4am to 7pm, then between 9am to 4pm it will close. Nice place to jogging, walking, running and photography. This way surrounding of lake is around 3km, it is a nice environment , middle water and surrounding fully green big big trees,i love this place, in this way the verticals are not allowed and there is parking place in front of SBI BANK. In middle of the way do many sitting chairs are available.

  This is one of the underrated visiting place in Mysore. Underrated, because tour operators often omit this place from their list and people who are coming to visit Mysore don't get a glimpse of quietness and serenity. This place is popular among local people. People take stroll around the lake for morning and evening walk. If anyone is visiting Mysore and got some time in hand in evening, I would suggest to visit this place once. You will see plenty of flora and fauna around.

  Very big walking or jogging path is available with nice views and ample parking space is available near University entrance gate

  Well maintained place. Clean, neat. Good for few hours of calm outing in Mysore. With plenty photo opp. Birds in particular.

  It's a beautiful and serene place to be. People generally go there to walk or run along side of the lake. There are places made on the other side of the lake to sit Back and relax while enjoying the view of the lake.. You can even take a nap there if you want to...
