  Maidan is a station of the Kolkata Metro.The station is located on Jawaharlal Nehru Road at Middleton Street. It is named for the Maidan the largest urban park in Kolkata, which lies on the west side of Jawaharlal Nehru Road.

  Close to loretto college, St xavier's and vardaan market. The metro station is a little dirty and the gates outside get waterlogged in the rainy season. This metro station remains busy all throughout the day. It's also at a 5 minute walk away from the park street metro station.

  Great place.... Kolkata famous area available all historical place,early season friends and family are spending the best time for us at this place,the best picnic side area

  First time to experience the underground metro. Its very beautiful and highly intelligent engineering work. Long underground tunnels for different gates to reach different places around the station. Simply amazing. Cost is also low compared to other metro trains across India. Only metro under the Indian Railways. Salute to Indian Railways.
