  The Mecca Masjid is the oldest mosque in Hyderabad and is situated very near to Charminar. This is one of the biggest Mosques in India which can accommodate 10000 people in the main prayer hall. Thousands of devotees may even seat outside the main prayer hall. There are two benches outside the main prayer hall. According to one person, one is made of Indian white stone and other one is made of black stone from Iran. Those who seat on the bench made of black stone, come back again to this mosque.  This old mosque, unlike many other historic places, is in good shape and people come here regularly for prayer.
