::Such temple open very rarely..since childhood I daily bases pass by it and also during my gym see it on regular bases... Four years back got opportunity to visit it from inside ..awesome..ekdam ethics and British era feeling..red colour paint and inside beautiful structure with glass painting...

::The two men managing the property are rude and insensitive.

::Beautiful synagogue! The gentleman who manages the property is a very sweet chap. My mother is Jewish so took her to the synagogue when she came to Pune. It's quiet and peaceful. There is a permanent police post here since the terror attacks. They collect your details and let you in. It's still a functioning place of worship for the few remaining Jewish families in Pune. Overall the place is serene but definitely needs an infusion of major funds as the timbers in the roof are in need of some heavy repairs and so does the clock tower.
