::This junction is very well connected to all parts of Patna & rest of Bihar owing to its central location and ease of access through the ever running transportation system of Bihar state. It was built back in 1862 as part of bankipore junction for Patna district of Bengal division of British India. Junction has 10 platforms with 3 foot over bridges. Its well connected to Delhi & Kolkata. Patna airport is 3 km away from station.

::Like all railway stations in India this railway station too is choatic and confusing. Cleanliness is something which each and every railway station in India is least concerned about and this railway station is no different. As it is one of the biggest and a major railway station of the state of Bihar, it does provide some facilitates to the commuters and travellers like cold drinking water, adequate sitting arrangements. But still a lot more needs to be done.

::Patna junction. The platforms are very large of this station. Free WiFi facility available at this junction. Platforms are cleaned every time. Lot of sittings available for passengers. Station is decorated with lights which are increase the beauty of this station at night. Also available restrooms with AC facilities. Lot of trains started from here.

::One of the busiest railway station in India. Very good infrastructure. Trains are available for almost all the major cities of India. This place is very much livelihood. People here are awesome. Staffs are well behaved and friendly. Situated in the centre of the capital city.

::It is one of the best stations in Bihar. Trains to most of the places starts from here and all the trains stops here. Snacks counters available on all the platforms. And you get get vehicles to every place near the junction. Can also enjoy FREE WI-FI. Fresh food counters for Lunch and Dinner are available at genuine rates. Water Refill Counters are also there,provides Mineral Filtered water at cheaper rate. I usually visit. I loved it.
