  Step mother= Southern Railway Total neglect by Coimbatore City Corporation and TN Government This station is a very good property for Coimbatore city. Peelamedu is the educational capital of TN State.But... 1. Railways is indifferent 2. Bus / auto service is very poor 3. If put to use, this will reduce congestion at Coimbatore Junction railway station and help commuters to reach home early

  5 passengers and 1 express train stop here. The timings are good for people who travel to Tiruppur in the morning. The incoming MEMU from Erode is at around 9 AM which is also good for students of nearby colleges. Has a loop line for crossings and 2 main lines.
