  It is more than a century old railway station. In the last one decade, it updated with all modern facilities. The AMBIANCE looks so lovely and FANTASTIC with all organised roads, two wheelers parking, auto riksha stands in well organised way to help passengers and wrong charging of auto charge which used to happen in earlier times, good drinking water and rest rooms, laugage rooms are available. Food and drinks are available in plenty. Good paper and book stalls available. The digital train no display board is seen on this place. A mike box kept for announcing trains arriving, departures and any important information. Tv display is also seen there. Plat form No's are boldly written for easy confirmation. Water bottling plants are made cute beautiful Cost of the bottle is Rs 3/- and one litre filling is charged Rs 5/ litre. At many places ate seen photovoltaic Parnell's are provided to tap sun energy a and the convert it into electrical energy for use in office purposes. one thing that reservations are computerised so they one book from house, standing in Que's is avoided totally avoided.
