::This museum is supposed to be the best and biggest museum of the whole Kashmir valley, and indeed it contains all elements to be a great one. It has artifacts ranging from ancient stones to traditional Kashmiri dresses. However, this museum is not well maintained, and functions typically like a government office. There are no organised tours by the staff, there is no proper information system about the relics, everything is supposed to be somehow self-explanatory. This museum has the potential to be very good if properly managed.
