  Lots of parking space on all the wings of the taj . Be prepared to park and take a local transport till the entry gate or walk for a mile. If you have booked a guide he can meet you at the parking itself. Don't fall prey to street vendors telling you to buy souvenirs , buy gifts or marble made plates or sweets from a trusted source.

  As with parking at any popular tourist place in India , parking at west gate of the Taj Mahal is chaotic. All sorts of vehicle gets parked there in every possible manner... jostling for space. Arrive early if you want to park properly. The Taj opens at 0630 hours every day except Friday. We arrived at around 0800 AM. Parking was 90% full. You have to walk down or hire a battery powered vehicle for visiting Taj from here. It's just 400 meters to the West Gate.

  Unprofessional car parking. Someone parked behind my car. Park at the place where you can take it out easily.

  A rip off for charging ₹100 for car parking. You have to tackle all the local vendors once you are out of your car. As this is the only good option we were able to find we used it.
