  Always crowdy.central and trans harbour trains are available. Platform no.1 (slow train)Thane - CSMT Platform no.2 (slow train)towards kalyan,karjat,kasara,asangaon,titwala, badlapur Platform no.3(slow train)Thane- CSMT,Thane-karjat,Thane-kasara etc. Platform no.4(slow train)towards CSMT Platform no.5 (fast train)towards kalyan,badlapur,karjat,khopoli,karata and express and mail Platform no.6 (fast train)towards CSMT and express and mail Platform no.7 n 8 all express and mails also fast local train departure Thane- CSMT Platform no.9 and 10 (slow train) towards nerul ,vashi and panvel.

  One of the busiest station of Mumbai suburbs . Good facilities are available. Good frequency of local trains . Getting better day by day. With 10 number of platforms one of the largest station in suburbs. Connected to central as well as trans harbour .

  One of the major railway junctions located on the central line...thane junction connects central and harbour line together...every mail/express takes a halt on thane railway station and navigates further..this place is heavily crowded at peak hours..public don't have space to walk on smaller bridges..all essential amenities are not provided here...thane railway station connects to you to the lifeline of thanekar's which is their bus service...three middle bridges of the thane railway station directly connect you to the local bus station which is located above station..you can find a lot of food options outside thane station but dont expect something quality stuff on the stations...life here is really tuff for the train commuters at peak hours because they need to travel in extreme rush situations,this becomes a more challenging task at the time of monsoons...a lot of efforts are being taken to keep the city clean,make sure you won't dump anything on the streets or anywhere else except the dustbins😊
