::It's centrally located and has good amenities. The staff is courteous. I am not giving it 5 star as I personally didn't like the room as they are a bit smaller than what you would expect in a 5 star. Decor is moderate and low ceiling makes the room look a bit cramped. Breakfast spread is okay, breakfast spread of The lalit is better. The decor of restaurant where you have breakfast is quite nice though.

::Was here for a meeting. Given it's Central and convenient location, I think the hotel has realized that a lot of people use it for work meetings. The lobby area has a coffee shop right there along with well placed tables and chairs. Great coffee, convenient venue.

::Great for foreigners' - they enjoy the old-style building and entire feel. Not that great for domestic travelers. Good location though - next to Khan Market.

::Good but not great. Large rooms. Comfortable stay. But veg food needs improvement. Vivanta having been classified as the lower brand of Taj, has stripped off a lot of frills without which you feel the stay is only satisfactory. Staff are also not what you expect from the brand since most of them are long rooted from the Ambassador. Very crowded breakfast place and very limited choice for vegetarians.

::The Vivanta by Taj Ambassador is a refreshing oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Delhi city. In some ways it is reminiscent of the expansive presence that the British would have liked to impress the inhabitants of the place. The property is ensconced in the heart of the Khan Market area of Delhi. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Each room is almost as big as a suite of contemporary hotels of today. There is a balcony with the room and one could even enjoy morning tea sitting in the balcony gazing at the greenery outside. The elevators are a bit claustrophobic though. I was visiting a friend who was put up there so I wouldn't be able to comment on the other aspects.
