  It's an awesome place to visit here but I have raid it 4 star because some of the animals is missing...... But I like to visit it after a month's because some of the part are improving..... And you can learn much more knowledge and can feel the fresh air here......

  I had been a constant visitor to Assam state zoo since my childhood. This zoo is evolving in the last few years and we are getting more and more animals with new facilities such as cycling. Soon trekking is to be introduced. And I heard that there will be boating for children too . We r getting a new nocturnal animal house soon . We recently got some new species . There are three beverage shops inside zoo and also a canteen near the gate. The children park is renovated . We also have museum and herbarium. But the only problem is that it there are less number of exotic species . It used to have chimpanzee giraffe and African rhino but after they died they had not been bought again .

  This one star I have just given to show the forest department that how they failed in doing their job. They have increased the fare rates but not taking care of the animals dwelling out there. Then where is the money going??? Animals are dying. They are not kept hygienically. Waters are dirty, grasses are not cut. Half of the animals are not available now. The cages are empty and so dirty that animals can fall sick.

  Many year ago when i was a little boy this botanical garden had many animals but in now days this botanical is going on vanish.. So i want to request the goverment to protect this botanical garden because it's not a botanical garden. For students they have to come here to know all unknown animals... Please #PROTECT This #BOTANICAL # GARDEN

  One of the best zoo that I have visited. It's large enough to have spacious stay for the inmates. Availability of species is also very good. The upkeep of the inmates and the area around is very good. Facilities available: Battery powered vehicles to move around, drinking water, food plaza, observation tower, foot overbridge to view the inmates. It also has a very large botanical garden. The plants are well marked for adequate information.
