::Important railway station in this belt of Indian railways. After Vijayawada, this station holds importance for locals travelling within Andhra Pradesh & even to cities like Chennai & Kolkata. Major trains have a halt here for few minutes.

::Nice connecting railway station for Hyderabad to Guntur's surrounding areas. Trains to and fro Hyderabad through out day and good waiting halls. There are two ways to go from one platform to other. Govt hospital side entry opens up to platform 1 and subway till platform 6 ( subway at platform 7 is under renovation as on date and closed) and railway foot over bridge from platform 7 to platforms 6,5,4,3 and 2.

::Very good place in guntur. Many times I have visited this Railway station. Good maintenance of this place because all facilities available at this station. The junction famous in South central Railway. It's connectable through out all major cities in India. During The New capital amaravathi development the station became the importance in Andhra Pradesh. Huge development at this Railway station.

::Both pics are taken from opposite direction. Dear friends who??? are benefited from these both manual and automation of tickets...Railways doesn't have any guidelines for making automation machines for issuing tickets.. Here only two types of persons are benefited 1. Person sitting infront of ticket issuing machine. 2. Railway staff who are absolutely idle. Kindly follow one path either automation or manual. Don't waste public money. Provide automation if it is required only..
