  It is one of the major railway station in trivandrum district....it is a small railway station having some of the necessary facilities...but the tracks are well ordered and clean...the use of this railway sttation is to the techies working in technopark..infosis...so this is their major help to get into office n time

  Railway station near to India largest green electronics park. A lot of people working with technopark travel from here daily. A couple of passengers and mail or express (Parasuram, Island, Vanchinadu) only stops here. The station currently on its face lifting, recently opened a second class waiting room for general and a separate hall for ladies with good bathrooms. Refreshment stall is available but less options. Auto stand is near by and you will get uber. On a 10 min walk, you can reach the bus stop. Buses from Eastfort to Kazhakootam (via Pattom, Kesavadasapuram, Sreekariyam,Manvila ) and Eastfort to Kazhakootam (via Palayam, General Hospital,Sreekariyam, Manvila) at an interval of 20-30 mins will connect to Kazhakoottam or towards Eastfort.

  Surroundings are quite and clean, by the way only passenger trains and few other trains have halt here. It's the nearest Railway station near technopark. Hotels are not located inside station.parking is available.

  Small railway station with limited facilities. But on the track of development. Well maintained platforms. Located half kilometer away from the main road. The place is calm and quiet and beautiful atmosphere with lot of trees.

  Kazhakuttom Railway Station: Station in the phase of development. Now more trains stop here compared to the past. Shops have been introduced here and that is somewhat helpful to the crowd. Ticket booking and reservation counters are available here. Online kiosk facility for train tracking and status checking adds more advantage. Parking facility is also available.
