  Mithapur bus stand is the biggest bus stand of Bihar. Here you can catch bus for all district of Bihar, jharkhand and west bengal. Out site of bus stand you can get auto, city bus hawahawai for all part of patna. A lots of Hotels are available near bus stand. This stand is near Sipara pul by-pass and Patna railway junction also. Here you can book A/C or non A/C bus a month before from your journey date.

  Mithapur is the main private bus stand from where almost all private buses depart for all the towns of Bihar and some towns of Jharkhand. Some government buses also depart from here. This place is about 1-1.5 km from Patna Junction. Some prestigious institutes are adjacent to Mithapur bus stand.

  It's worst major bus stand of state's capitals. Road to main Patna city from bus stand is also in bad condition. Bus stand's campus are too dirty and full of dust. No good quality of buses available to travel within the state. All buses, even private buses, are in very bad condition. Inter state transports are very very few in numbers, only to fee neighbouring states like UP, Jharkhand etc. Bihar state road transports are in dying stages. And I think, government has no plan for improve this in next 20 years too.

  Nice bus stand three gates are there 1st gate from the bye pass road beside chandragupt college for private bus long journey, 2nd bus stand for short journey private bus & government bus and 3rd bus stand for government bus long journey.
